解説

　一般常識、社会通念、状況などから鑑みて、必ずそうしなければならないことを表します。
　「する」は「せずには済まない」になります。

例文

（１）　君が悪いのなら謝らないではすまない。　▶
　　　　　如果你做错了，就不能不道歉。
　　　　　If you’re at fault, you can’t get away without apologizing.
（２）　こんなものまで頂いたら、今度お返しせずには済まないですね。　▶
　　　　　如果收到这样的东西，下次不能不回礼了呢。
　　　　　If I receive something like this, I can’t get away without returning the favor next time, right?
（３）　検査結果によっては手術せずにはすまなくなるだろう。　▶
