意味

　与其说…，还不如说…
　与其…说…
　倒不如说是…

解説

　二つの判断や見方を比較し、後件の方が比較的妥当であることを表します。
　「むしろ」は省略可能ですが、「むしろ」がつくとより強調された表現となります。

　「というより」「というよりは」「というよりか」「というよりも」「というよりかは」などと様々な言い方がありますが全て同じ意味です。

例文

（１）　声が聞こえないのはマイクが壊れているというより、パソコンの設定の方の問題だと思う。　▶
　　　　　与其说不能听见声音是因为麦克风坏了，不如说是电脑的设定方面的问题。
　　　　　I think not being able to hear the sound is more of an issue with the computer settings rather than the microphone being broken.
（２）　今回の件は悲しいというより残念だ。　▶
　　　　　这次的事情与其说是悲伤不如说是遗憾。
　　　　　This matter is more disappointing rather than sad.
（３）　これからはプログラミングを趣味としてというより、仕事として頑張って行くつもりだ。　▶
　　　　　今后与其说把编程作为兴趣还不如说是作为工作去努力。
　　　　　From now on, I intend to work hard on programming not as a hobby, but as a profession.
（４）　日本の満員電車は乗っているというよりは、むしろ詰め込まれているという感じだ。　▶
　　　　　日本的满员电车与其说是乘坐，不如说是挤得满满的。
　　　　　Japanese crowded trains feel more like being crammed in rather than just being on board.
（５）　金銭面の問題というよりかは、むしろ親の賛成が得られないことが留学できない大きな理由だ。　▶
　　　　　与其说是金钱方面的问题，还不如说是无法得到父母的同意是无法留学的最大理由。
　　　　　The main reason for not being able to study abroad is not so much a financial issue but rather the lack of parental approval.
（６）　猫派か犬派かというよりも、まず動物を触ることができない。　▶
　　　　　与其说是猫派或狗派，不如说是首先不能接触动物。
　　　　　Rather than being a cat person or a dog person, the main issue is not being able to touch animals in the first place.

（11）　彼女の新しい髪型は似合ってるというよりむしろ好き。　▶

　　　　　Her new hairstyle is not so much about whether it suits her but rather that I like it.
（12）　練習の成果を出すことができず、悔しいというよりむしろ無力感。　▶

　　　　　The feeling of powerlessness is more prevalent than the frustration of not achieving the results of the practice.
