解説

　極限の程度を表します。
　「極まる」「極まりない」は形式上肯否の対立が見られますが、この言い方の時はその対立が解消され、いずれも同じ意味となります。どちらかというと「極まりない」のほうが使用頻度が高めです。
　書き言葉として用います。
　「感極まる」は非常に感動することを表す慣用表現です。

例文

（１）　一日何時間もゲームをするのは不健全なこと極まりない。　▶
　　　　　整天沉迷于游戏对健康无益，极其不健康。
　　　　　Spending hours playing games all day is extremely unhealthy.
（２）　彼の失礼極まりない態度に我慢できなかった。　▶
　　　　　无法容忍他那极其无礼的态度。
　　　　　I couldn’t tolerate his extremely rude attitude.
（３）　感極まって泣き出した。　▶
　　　　　感动到流泪。
　　　　　Overwhelmed by emotions, I burst into tears.
（４）　法定速度を守らないのは危険極まる行動だ。　▶
　　　　　不遵守法定速度是极其危险的行为。
　　　　　Not obeying the speed limit is an extremely dangerous behavior.
（５）　初対面なのにあの態度は失礼極まりない。　▶
　　　　　尽管初次见面，他的态度极其无礼。
　　　　　Despite it being our first meeting, his attitude was extremely rude.
（６）　迷惑極まりない路上駐車を早く取り締まってほしい。　▶
　　　　　请尽快取缔令人非常困扰的路边停车。
　　　　　Please crack down on highly inconvenient roadside parking.
（７）　あの人、ずっと下ネタ言ってて不愉快極まりない。　▶
　　　　　那个人一直说些下流的话，令人非常不快。
　　　　　That person kept making vulgar remarks, which was extremely unpleasant.
（８）　高層ビルなのにエレベーターが故障していて不便極まりない。　▶
　　　　　尽管是高层建筑，电梯却坏了，非常不方便。
　　　　　Despite being a high-rise building, the elevator is broken, causing great inconvenience.
（９）　ドーナツにチョコレート、そしてコーラ。不健康極まりないけど不健康なものほど美味しい。　▶
　　　　　甜甜圈、巧克力和可乐。虽然非常不健康，但越不健康的东西越好吃。
　　　　　Donuts, chocolates, and cola. Although highly unhealthy, the more unhealthy things are, the tastier they are.
（10）　社会とは理不尽極まりないものだ。　▶
　　　　　社会是极其不公平的。
　　　　　Society is extremely unjust.
（11）　部員のうちたった一人が感染しただけでチーム全体が棄権しなければならないなんて残念極まりない。　▶
　　　　　仅有一个队员感染，整个队伍就必须弃权，非常遗憾。
　　　　　Only one team member got infected, yet the whole team had to forfeit, which is extremely regrettable.
（12）　恥ずかしいこと極まりない。穴があったら入りたい。　▶
　　　　　太尴尬了，恨不得找个洞钻进去。
　　　　　It’s so embarrassing that I wish I could find a hole to hide in.
（13）　彼の主張を一通り確認したが、幼稚なこと極まりないものだった。　▶
　　　　　我仔细审查了他的论点，发现他的论点非常幼稚。
　　　　　I examined his arguments thoroughly and found them to be extremely childish.
