意味

　既是…也是…

解説

　人物や事柄に同時に２つの性質があることを述べる文型です。
　「～でもあり、また～でもある」のように、「また」が呼応することもあります。

例文

（１）　あと１週間働けば今年も終わり。年末年始の休みが楽しみでもあり、仕事始めが怖くもある。
　　　　　再工作一周，今年就结束了。我们既期待年末年初的假期，又害怕新的工作的开始。
　　　　　Just one more week of work, and this year will be over. I’m looking forward to the year-end and New Year holidays, but also feeling apprehensive about going back to work.
（２）　優しさ、それは彼の美点でもあり欠点でもある。
　　　　　温柔，这既是他的优点也是缺点。
　　　　　Kindness is both his virtue and his flaw.
（３）　子供の頃から切磋琢磨してきた。あいつはライバルでもあり仲間でもある。
　　　　　从小时候起就开始切磋。他既是竞争对手又是伙伴。
　　　　　Since childhood, we have been competing and pushing each other to improve. He is both my rival and my companion.
（４）　実家に帰省するのは楽しみでもあり面倒でもある。
　　　　　回老家既快乐又麻烦。
　　　　　Going back to my parents’ home is both enjoyable and troublesome.
（５）　考えすぎてしまうのは、長所でもあり、短所でもある。
　　　　　想得过多，既是优点，也是缺点。
　　　　　Overthinking is both a strength and a weakness.
（６）　私の彼女はＳでもあり、Ｍでもある。
　　　　　我的女朋友既是攻，也是受。
　　　　　My girlfriend is both a sadist and a masochist.
（７）　今日は私たちの結婚記念日でもあり、妻の誕生日でもある重要な日だ。
　　　　　今天是我们的结婚纪念日，也是妻子生日的重要日子。
　　　　　Today is an important day as it is both our wedding anniversary and my wife’s birthday.
