意味

　…是（因为）…才行（可能）。

解説

　「ＡはＢてのことだ」という形を取り、Ａを実現するために必要な条件をＢで述べる文型です。ＢはＡの必要条件となるので、Ｂが無ければＡも成り立ちません。
　この文型では後件であるＢを強調しています。

例文

（１）　今回の決定は君を思ってのことだ。悪く思わないでくれ。
　　　　　这次决定是为你着想。不要觉得不好。
　　　　　This decision was made with you in mind. Please don’t take it the wrong way.
（２）　彼がここまで野放しにされていたのも、裏で糸を引く奴がいてのことだ。
　　　　　他之所以放任到这种地步，是因为在背后有牵线人。
　　　　　The reason he was allowed to roam freely until now was because there was someone pulling the strings behind the scenes.
（３）　今の自分がいるのは、Ａさんのあの時の言葉があってのことです。
　　　　　有现在的自己，是因为有A先生那时的话。
　　　　　The reason I am where I am now is because of what Mr. A said at that time.
（４）　彼が私に助けを求めてきたのは、他に頼る当てがなくてのことだろう。
　　　　　他向我求助，是因为没有其他的依靠吧。
　　　　　He must have come to me for help because he had no one else to rely on.
（５）　本件への対応が早かったのは、事態の緊急性を鑑みてのことだ。
　　　　　对这件事的处理迅速，是基于事态的紧急性。
　　　　　The prompt response to this matter was due to considering the urgency of the situation.
（６）　私が仲裁を行うことにしたのは、お二人のことを憂いてのことです。
　　　　　我决定进行仲裁是因为担心你们俩。
　　　　　I have decided to mediate because I am concerned about both of you.
（７）　申し訳ないという気持ちがあってのことです。
　　　　　因为有对不起的心情。
　　　　　I apologize for any inconvenience caused.
（８）　彼が盗みを働いたのは、どうしてもそれが欲しくてのことだった。
　　　　　他之所以偷盗，是因为无论如何也想要那个。
　　　　　The reason he committed the theft was because he desperately wanted it.
