解説
質的にも量的にも期待通りの状態で特に不満はないことを表します。
「相手にとって不足はない」「相手に不足はない」は、互角に面白い勝負が期待でき、相手としてふさわしいことを意味する慣用表現です。
例文
（１） 冬の寒さより夏の暑さが好きなので、この暑い夏に不足はないです。 ▶
比起冬天的寒冷更喜欢夏天的炎热，所以我对这个炎热的夏没什么不满。
I prefer the heat of summer over the cold of winter, so I don’t have any shortage in this hot summer.
（２） このパソコンは小型だが排熱性能に不足はない。 ▶
这个电脑的型号虽小但是它的排热功能没什么不足。
This computer is small, but it doesn’t lack in heat dissipation performance.
（３） 物価が安いので生活はできるし、お給料に不足はない。 ▶
因为这里物价便宜，能足够让人生活了，所以我对工资没什么不满。
Since the cost of living is low, I can manage, and there is no shortage in my salary.

（５） 毎日に不足はない。時間はものすごく無駄にしてるけど。 ▶
我每天过得没什么不满意。只是这样过感觉很浪费时间。
There is no shortage in my daily life. I waste a tremendous amount of time, though.
（６） 奈良は世界遺産の観光都市だから旅の目的地として不足はないだろう。 ▶
奈良是拥有世界遗产的旅游城市，所以作为观光地应该没什么不足吧。
Nara is a tourist city with world heritage sites, so there should be no shortage of destinations for travel.
（７） 彼は総理大臣として不足はない。 ▶
他作为内阁总理没有什么不足。
He is not lacking as a prime minister.
（８） 相手にとって不足はない。 ▶
