解説
「～したくてもできない」「～したくても難しい」という意味で使われます。できない理由は主に心理的なものが原因です。
他人のお願いや命令に対して婉曲的に断る表現としても使え、その場合は比較的丁寧な印象を与えます。
直接「できない」と言うことを避ける場面で使えます。
「見るに見かねて」は慣用的な表現で、見ることができないくらいかわいそうな状況であることを表します。
例文
（１） 怪我した子猫を見るに見かねて、動物病院へ連れて行った。 ▶
实在看不下去小猫受的伤，就带它去了动物医院。
Unable to bear seeing the injured kitten, I took it to the animal hospital.
（２） こちらとしては、それには賛成いたしかねます。 ▶
这种事情恕不赞同。
We cannot agree with that.
（３） 確証が無いので判断しかねます。 ▶
没有确切的证据就很难判断。
Without conclusive evidence, we cannot make a judgment.
（４） 自己責任で行ってください。こちらで責任は負いかねます。 ▶
请自己负责。我们不负责任。
Please proceed at your own risk; we cannot take responsibility.
（５） 詳しい事情は分かりかねます。 ▶
详细情况难以理解。
We cannot grasp the detailed circumstances.
（６） 専門家ではないので適切なアドバイスはしかねます。 ▶
因为不是专家，很难给出合适的建议。
We are not experts, so we cannot provide appropriate advice.
（７） ご意見は承りましたが、同意しかねます。 ▶
虽然听过您的意见，但还是难以同意。
We have heard your opinion but cannot agree.
（８） その質問には答えかねます。 ▶
难以回答那个问题。
I cannot answer that question.
（９） 仕事を辞めて無職になるか、それとも転職して働き続けるかを決めかねている。 ▶
我无法决定是辞职成为无业游民，还是转职继续工作。
I am unable to decide whether to quit my job and become unemployed or to change careers and keep working.
（10） アタックするべきだろうか、彼女との距離感やタイミングを掴みかねている。 ▶
我不确定是否该主动行动，无法把握与她的距离感和时机。
I’m unsure whether I should take the initiative and can’t grasp the appropriate distance and timing with her.
（11） 意中の人に自分からどう連絡するのがベストなのか計りかねている。 ▶
我无法确定如何主动联系心仪的人才是最佳选择。
I’m uncertain about the best way to initiate contact with the person I’m interested in.
（12） 先日も殺人事件があった。先月にも似た手口の殺人事件があったが、２つの関連性は判断しかねる。 ▶
最近发生了一起谋杀案。上个月也有类似手法的谋杀案，但我无法判断两者之间是否有关联。
A murder case occurred recently. There was a similar method murder case last month, but I cannot determine if there is a connection between the two.
（13） この作品は男女のドロドロ愛が描かれており、子供向けとは言いかねる。 ▶
这部作品描绘了男女之间的复杂爱情，不适合儿童观看。
This work portrays complicated romantic relationships between men and women and is not suitable for children.
（14） バスは交通事情、気象状況により遅延することがありますが、その場合でも運賃の払い戻しはいたしかねますのでご了承下さい。 ▶
公交车可能会因交通状况和天气原因而延误，但即使如此，车费将不予退还，请谅解。
Buses may experience delays due to traffic conditions and weather, but even in such cases, the fare will not be refunded. Please understand.
