　限定を表す文型です。
　人物や地域を表す名詞に接続し、「～だけだ」「～以外にない」という意味を表します。

例文

（１）　この仕事は彼をおいて他に任せられる人がいない。
　　　　　除了他之外，没有其他人可以被委托这项工作。
　　　　　There is no one else but him who can be entrusted with this job.
（２）　その分野を学びたいなら、この大学をおいて他にはない。
　　　　　如果你想学习那个领域，除了这所大学之外别无选择。
　　　　　If you want to study in that field, there is no other university like this one.
