他の人に理解してもらうためにお手本を示すことを表します。
この用法はＮ３レベルです。
例文
（１） やり方が分からないので、一度やってみせてくれませんか？ ▶
因为不知道方法，请你给我示范一次好吗？
Because I don’t know the method, could you show me once?
（２） この実験は危険ですので、まずは私が皆さんにやってみせましょう。 ▶
这个实验很危险，所以我先给大家演示一下。
This experiment is dangerous, so let me demonstrate it to you first.
（３） 何でもいいので好きな絵を描いてください。私はあなたが何を描いたか当ててみせましょう。 ▶
随便画一幅喜欢的画给我看。我来猜你画了什么。
Please draw any picture you like. I will try to guess what you drew.
（４） 平凡な教師は言って聞かせる。よい教師は説明する。優秀な教師はやってみせる。しかし最高の教師 は子どもの心に火をつける。 ▶
普通的教师说给学生听。好的教师解释给学生听。优秀的教师示范给学生看。但是最好的教师点燃孩子的心灵。
An ordinary teacher tells students. A good teacher explains to students. An excellent teacher demonstrates to students. But the best teacher ignites the hearts of children.

解説
話し手の何かを実現させるための決意や強い意志を表します。
「必ずや」と呼応することがあります。
芝居がかった言い方に「～てみせるとも」があります。
例文

为了给大家做榜样，我先演示了一下。
To set an example, I demonstrated it first.
（10） 来月の試験、必ず合格してみせる。 ▶
