　疑問詞について、動作や場所、時間等が特定できないことを表します。

　・どこからともなく

例文

（１）　どこからともなく銃声が聞こえてくる。
　　　　　不经意间不知从哪里传来了枪声。
　　　　　Gunshots can be heard from somewhere.
（２）　二人はどちらからともなく手を繫ぎ、歩き出した。
　　　　　两个人不经意间牵着手走。
　　　　　The two of them, hand in hand, started walking from nowhere in particular.
（３）　いつもガムを噛んでいることから、彼を「ガム男」と誰ともなく呼ぶようになった。
　　　　　因为总是嚼口香糖，所以不经意间被大家叫做“口香糖男”。
　　　　　Because he always chews gum, he has become known as “Gum Guy” without anyone specifically calling him that.
